Eduard Petrovych Potapenkov (Ed Potapenkov). Ukrainian artist. He was born on June 12, 1968 in the city of Dnipro. From 1983 to 1987 he studied at the Dnipropetrovsk art school named after E.V. Vuchetich Professional teachers - L. Antoniuk, G. Cherneta. In 1995, he graduated from the painting faculty of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture - the easel painting workshop of Professor V. Shatalin. From 1993 to 1996, he was a member of the artistic association "Cold VEL". Permanent member of the creative group "Squat on Olehivska".
Participates in various joint projects and collaborations. Since 1996, a participant in many group and personal exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad. Regular visitors to Kyiv galleries have long known and loved the work of the Kyiv impressionist artist Eduard Potapenkov for its lightness and ease, as well as for the virtuoso interpretation of seemingly trivial everyday things and phenomena: recreation, old movies, food, fashion, dance. But every time Eduard turns to some seemingly simple topic, it begins to sound with new meanings, memories, emotions. The artist lives and works in Kyiv.
